CREL is pleased to announce that this
years tournament will follow the NAWIRA
world cup qualification competiton to
be held at the Cayman Rugby Football Union.
The IRB NAWIRA World Cup Sevens Qualifiers
for the region will be played at the South
Sound Field June 8th and 9th 2004. Teams
attending will include national teams
from all over the Caribbean in addition
to the USA Eagles.
The itinerary is as follows:
June 8 & 9 - NAWIRA World Cup qualifiers
June 10 - International 7's Supporters
Tournament
June 11 & 12 - Cayman International
Sevens
The stage is set for the largest rugby
festival ever to be held in Cayman.
Cayman Rugby Union hosts an Annual International
Sevens Supporters Teams Tournament each
year at the South Sound Rugby Field, Grand
Cayman, British West Indies. There is
currently space for 10 Mens teams and
6 Womens teams for June 10th 2004. This
year is especialy attractive as the Cayman
International Sevens teams up with the
NAWIRA World Cup 7's qualification tournament
to offer five days of top class sport
with the vacation of a lifetime. Soak
up some sun and experience some of the
best rugby and diving in the world.
We offer in conjunction with the Cayman
Department of Tourism, a seven-day package
to all touring teams coming into Cayman
for the International Sevens.
