"I extend an invitation to your club to travel to Kinsale and participate in the Heineken Kinsale Sevens by the Sea Rugby Tournament 2004. Our Event, which is the biggest of its kind in Europe, will be held from Saturday 1st May to Sunday 2nd May, 2004, with a fun warm-up competition on Friday 30th April.

82 teams (c.900 players) from 11 countries took part in our competitive matches with a total of c. 8000 participants over the tournament. Their participation in the Event provided a weekend of high class running rugby, particularly in the latter stages of the various competitions.

I would greatly appreciate your Club's participation in the Tournament, knowing of it's reputation of exciting, attractive and fast-pace skilful rugby. The international dimension to the weekend is superb; last year's participating teams came from: Scotland, New Zealand, USA, Moldova, Wales, France, England, Canada, Holland, Fiji, and the island of Ireland !"
