The NEW YORK 7s TOURNAMENT is the largest sevens tournament in the United States. The tournament has been held on the Saturday following Thanksgiving since 1959 and traditionally marks the end of the Fall rugby season in the New York Metropolitan area.

With teams and players travelling from as far away as Central and South America, South Africa, Australia, the UK, France, Canada, and many other countries, the level of play is truly spectacular.

Each year the New York Rugby Club plays host to nearly 100 rugby clubs that come to New York for world class competitive rugby and great fun in one of the world's greatest cities. Interested in entering a team? Click HERE.

This year's NY 7s will include
:
Premier: Premier and 1st Division Club teams from US and Canada as well as high level Int'l Touring Sides – 8 Teams

Men’s Club: Div I, II, & III Clubs from the US and Canada as well as mid/lower-level touring sides from overseas – 16 Teams

Women’s Club: Div I, II, & III Club teams from the US and Canada as well as touring sides – 16 Teams

Men’s College: College or University *undergraduate* teams (no players over 23 yrs old) – 16 Teams

Women’s College: College or University *undergraduate* teams (no players over 23 yrs old) – 12 Teams

Social: Old Boys or College Alumni sides, B sides of Clubs that already have a team entered in Club or Premier, *TRUE* social sides – 24 Teams

Heroes: Fire, Police, Emergency, and Armed Service Teams – 8 Teams
